Easter Weekend

Happy Easter weekend to all our family and friends. We are thankful for a 4 day weekend....it has been very busy few months and really hard to believe that we are in April month already.

Work has been extra busy for mommy this past 2 weeks as we look to hire someone new to work with us. But God has a plan and we do know that all things work out in His time. Yesterday I was very tired by the time 230pm came and was thankful that the office closed early.

Ashley was especially excited because I came to pick her up early from school too. We got to enjoy some mommy & daughter time together which we both always treasure. On the drive home, she says "It sure is a beautiful day hey mom"! I said yes it is.

She knew it was going to be a 4 day vacation weekend and as most kids was excited for the Easter egg hunt etc to come. One of her many questions was "What are we going to do tomorrow?".

I responded by saying, we will enjoy today and think about tomorrow when it comes.

Right away she says, "That's right Mommy. Do not worry about tomorrow, Tomorrow will worry about itself".

She then broke into one of the little songs from her Steve Green CD, which we play in the car often and sang the whole song "Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Do not worry about what you will eat or drink. Isn't life more important than food.....".

We have a great little singer on our hands but more importantly, I am thankful for yet another little reminder of God's promise not just to Ashley but to me.

ANOTHER story from the week past:

In the car, on the way home Ashley was talking about bible circle time they had at school.
She said they learned about Jesus dying on the Cross and dying for our sins.

Then she says, we learned that last year at daycare too. So I don't know which Easter he died on the Cross but maybe it was the first Easter since we learned about it last year too.

LOL, kids. Gotta love em. So innocent yet so full of life's lessons too.

Have a very blessed Easter everyone. Enjoy the Easter egg hunts but most of all, Enjoy living LIFE and being so thankful because we serve a God who is ALIVE and Because HE lives we can face tomorrow.

Many blessings,

The King family
