The Move is a-coming!
When ever I feel myself getting a little anxious over something, I quite often will reach for the box of promises. Growing up in our house & also in our Grandparents home there was always a little box of promises with scripture verses and quotes to encourage you. We would take one, around the supper table and read it out loud.
My precious Nan Murphy had such a box of promises which is now in my kitchen after she moved into the home.....so I reached for one the other day and this is what it had on it:
"When you are anxious about the things to come, reflect on the past and how God has been Faithful!"
What a promise!
Quite often, we don't like to look at the past but God wants us to remember how HE has helped us in the past and how HE will guide us in the things ahead.
We have some exciting days ahead. But also some nervousness too, but GOD has already gone before us and is preparing our days in our new home. So we have TRUST him to lead us one day at a time.
