When you get older (yes, we do age) you start to face more challenges and realize that the CIRCLE of Life really is true. We celebrate and get excited over milestones like birthdays, new babies, new jobs, new chapters like new homes.....and now most people are excited and planning for Christmas.
But in the midst of all these things, Life still happens doesn't it?
I am a little reflective on this the past week, and especially today when we have learned of the passing of our Aunt June Jewer, in Newfoundland. The first sibling of my dad and his siblings. We are thinking of and praying for all our family members during these days as they grieve and meet together to celebrate her life and the woman that she was.
Even in death, there is laughter and sharing of stories and memories of our loved ones. It really is a part of the healing for everyone. And while we may not always understand Why our loved ones are taken away so quickly, yet our GOD understands and has His reason for all.
In the midst of the sadness today, I am thankful God for my family and our extended family. Why? Because I have already seen how each one of them have reached out to each other either on phone, email or facebook. Supporting one another with love and prayers. That is what FAMILY is all about.
Thank you for your prayers! Just another reminder of just how precious LIFE is.
Take a moment to say I LOVE YOU to your family.
Take a moment to make that phone call
Take a moment to send an email.
Take a moment to do whatever your heart is asking you to do, because it really does only take a MOMENT to touch someone's life.
Blessings on you today!
Dana
