I love our Car Chats....

We always have such good chats when we are driving to and from places.  This mornings conversation went like this.

Me: 

Do you understand why we can't ride a Scooter on the carpet in the house?

Ashley:

Why?

Me:

 When Mommy and Daddy bought our house, the carpet cost around $1000.00

(I wanted to pull a big number....it was likely more)

Ashley:  

YOU and DADDY had a $1000.00.  Wow!
Then you could have used some of that $1000.00 to save towards the puppy I want!!!!

One of these days Daddy and I would LOVE to surprise you to say - we are going to buy a dog.   When the time is right child....
