May - a new month for more stories

Friday, May 1st 2009 started off with a story that went something like this:

I dropped Ashley off to daycare and we arrived at her cubbieto hang her coat before heading to her classroom.

Me: Ashley, who owns this hat in your cubbie? It is not yours.
A: No, it is a daycare hat.
Me: Why is it here?
A: (In a very sarcastic and authoritative voice) Mommy YOU ARE FIRED!!!!
Me: Why?
A: Because you forgot my hat and mittens at home!

Phew, thank goodness she still loves me and wants me to be her mom.


Then end of the day we met up with Nanny & Poppy Murphy at Boston Pizza for supper. At the end of the meal, Ashley stands up on the seat and says "Guys, I have some good news and some bad news". We were interested!

Then she says, first the bad news but it is REALLY bad news so I am not going to tell you.
So she didn't. (LOL - we lost it, all 4 of us adults were in the knots laughing)

But the good news was she was going next to Canadian Tire to get a new bike.

And we did get one....photos will follow later the weekend as mommy is heading out now for the morning to a seminar at the Chinese Christian Alliance Church. Looking forward to it - all about teaching preschoolers about God!
