On Nanny's birthday we took her for a girls lunch to the Lone Star. Unknown to Nanny, you told the hostess that it was your Nanny's birthday. They brought out a huge cowboy hat and sang to her very loud. We all shared a good laugh over it, especially Nanny. She was very surprised as you can tell in this photo although it is a bit blurry.
We had a great day together just going on a Murphy/King adventure and spending the day as it happened.
After Nanny's birthday, on another day before school started you went for a sleepover to Nanny & Poppy's house which you enjoy very much. At bedtime, you told Nanny that you were very worried about mommy & Nanny. Nanny reassured you that God was with you, and also with us where we were. You were chatting about worry and prayer, and how praying can help you not to worry.
You told Nanny that when you pray to God that is it just like "POOF and the worry is gone"!
Making Memories with our families is what we like to do. We are thankful and blessed to be part of a large loving family.
