I find myself reflecting this past week on my Uncle Reg and the great life that he lived.
What a legacy he has left behind for his family and friends.
What a legacy he has left behind for his family and friends.
I say without hesitation that he truly was the best Uncle that any girl could ask for.
Perhaps we formed our first bond in this photo, over music because music truly is the window to the soul.
Thank you Uncle Reg for leaving us with some great CD's to listen to as it helps us to heal during our grieving but most of all it helps us to remember the awesome singer that you were.
You had a great sense of humor too, which was very contagious to anyone who you came in contact with. I will cherish this photo for a long time.
Fast forward quite a number of years, and here is another great photo of Uncle Reg with his grand daughter Jane. Picking raspberries in his garden. I remember as a little girl watching you and Aunt Grace gathering raspberries from your garden to, and am sure that Jane will also remember this when she is older.
We miss talking to you but you will always be with us as we watch Jane grow and listen to the boys with their music.
Thank you for leaving this impression on us and for just being the kind hearted and loving soul that you were. Your ripple effect will continue through the many lives that you touched.
Gotta end this blog on a light hearted note.....yes, it has to end with a FART. We have shared many times with Ashley how Uncle Reg would ALWAYS say "Pull my finger" and then he would let out a good fart! Not just a toot either. Oh how this made us laugh as kids.....Off color or not, a good FART is a must to belong in this family.
I pray each day for Aunt Grace, Heather, Stephen, Greg and family who are missing you a great deal.
Time really does heal the pain....
So thankful we have a great big family who cares and supports one another through times like this.
We miss you. We love you. Your legend lives on....
Love your favorite niece,
DANA
